Divey Foundation, NGO

Empowerment starts at the ground level

Training Women & Children, Making Them Learn & Earn Independently

Divey Foundation is an NGO, an initiative of Dr Divya Tanwar and team seeking to reach out to the more obscure and weaker/neglected section of society and handhold them towards societal parity through the development of knowledge, skill and sustenance.

The goal is to build a foundation that can train women and children so that they can learn and earn independently. We strive to work with a variety of Government bodies and programs that will allow us to build a sustainable organisation and help us reach the weakest sections of society. Our prime focus is to develop self-dependence in women and children and enable them to lead more effective and satisfactory lives.

Further, the development of this focus group will help in mainstreaming and integrating them with the immediate community and society. We aim to maximise the quality and effectiveness of our work and to make the benefits and services available to the most downtrodden on the social ladder.

What We Do

Divey Foundation is an NGO working towards the education of poor children and slum women.

We follow a unique method of educating poor women and children that would help them in applying their academic knowledge for innovation and sustenance. We work towards the betterment of the lives of these poor women and children.

Our aim is to educate them and help them stand on their own feet and improve their life style. Skills Development Programs have been designed for the socio-economic development of people, especially women from vulnerable and marginalised communities.

We try to improve the standard of life of these people by offering skill development programmes and specialised training programs. To develop indigenous handicrafts by establishing industrial homes and to promote local products through Value Chain Development. To prepare trainees and artisans for a social change in our community through moral education and development of social values.
